Take me out to the ballgame!!

I was so proud to be Connor's mom tonight...more than I usually am. Connor loves to play sports, especially baseball. I think tonight was his best game yet. He hit two home runs and got three people out. At the end of each game, one player receives the game ball for different reasons. Connor received the ball tonight because of his excellent playing. He was grinning from ear to ear when he came running out of the dugout to show me what he had received from the coach. What a wonderful memory for him, and an awesome trophy that he will have forever.

Scootering to and fro

I was so excited when I looked at the Target ad yesterday, and saw scooters on sale. Connor has been asking for a new scooter ever since we went to Classic Skating for our friend, Kade Syddall's, birthday. So, without any hesitation, I took the kids over to Target this afternoon, and surprised each of them with their choice in scooter. Connor decided on a Hot Wheels scooter, and Kaitlyn on a Disney Princess scooter. After I put them together, they enjoyed riding them in the back yard. They can't wait to take them to Classic Skating to try them out.

A Dimond in the Rough

I received a link to an article from my brother this morning. It is about my gorgeous niece, Brieann, and her desire win a state championship ring with her Juan Diego softball team. She is a senior this year, and has wanted the title of state champion since her freshman year. We hope her dreams and wishes come true in this, her final year, in softball at Juan Diego. I have included the link below for anyone to view if they would like. Once to the link, scroll down recent stories section. Look under Thursday, 4/17, Prep Softball: Dimond wants ring. Click on the title, and you will find the story. The link is as follows....http://www.tribpreps.com/.

Zoo Time

We took advantage of the beautiful weather on Monday, and visited Hogle Zoo. The kids had a fantastic time being out in the warm weather. Bryson was in complete awe as he looked at the animals up close. When Kaitlyn was getting dressed before the zoo, she picked out her lime green skirt to wear because she wanted to show it to the elephants....she could have watched them all day long. Connor, of course, enjoyed smelling the rino poop, and purchasing items in the Zootique Gift Shop. It was cool for me to see the gorgeous baby giraffe! I have never seen a baby giraffe before...boy was it cute. As usual, Justin was mostly concerned about what was going to fill his tummy.

Thanks Carrie!!!!

After my darling cousin, Carrie, told me I should create a blog so she can see my cute family more often, I decided to do so. Hopefully I will be able to get the hang of this whole blog craze that is sweeping the internet. It will be a slow start, but I hope to add info about my family soon.
